Real love is a daily practice
I learned it the hard way.
Love Lab Coaching turns that into simple weekly steps couples can keep.
Why does the silence happen
The truth is: most relationships don’t end with a bang. They fade in silence.
One partner shuts down. The other waits. Conversations shrink, touch disappears, and no one knows how to bring it back without breaking what’s left.
My story
I lived through the silence and fought back with practice.
I’m Viktor Domahidy, Gottman Seven Principles Leader, Relationship and Intimacy coach, and founder of Love Lab Coaching. I’ve spent over 20 years in the trenches of real love.
I wasn’t always a coach. I was a husband who showed up physically, and missed the most critical emotional moment in my wife’s life. That failure woke me up. I made a vow: never let silence or misunderstanding steal a love that can still be saved.
What makes me different
I don’t teach theory from a desk. I coach tools I’ve seen work in real life.
Years in hospitality taught me how couples actually unravel—tone, timing, body language.
I coach from the pain I caused, the repair I earned, and the promise to do it better.

How we work
Start the 7-Week Reset: short lessons, micro-practices, guided scripts.
Why does the course come first?
Finishing the 7-Week Reset is a small promise with a big payoff.
It shows dedication, gives us a shared language (so “soft startup,” “repair attempt,” and “turning toward” mean the same thing), and lets private coaching focus on momentum, not basics. You'll share lived moments informed by the course practices and specific examples, ensuring our 1:1 time is spent on targeted work that drives genuine progress.
What this gives you
Dedication you can point to: “We did the work.”
A shared playbook: We skip definitions and go straight to your patterns.
Faster results: Your wins and stuck points from the Reset tell us exactly where to coach.
Better value: Sessions focus on one change per meeting, clear, efficient, and effective.
2. Practice: small moves, steady progress, real-life wins.
3. Alumni coaching: available after you complete Week-7 of the Relationship Reset course.
What I Believe
Relationships don’t die because people stop loving; they die because they stop knowing how.
Love isn’t a destination, it’s a journey taken together.
You don’t need more information; you need tools that meet you in the moment.
When one partner grows, the relationship rises. When both grow, it becomes unstoppable.
If you’re here, this is your window
You’re not too late. You’re not broken. You’re at a turning point, and what you do next matters.
-
Start anyway. You’ll still build skills that change the tone at home. If your partner joins later, you’ll already have the playbook. (Solo coaching is available after you complete the Reset.)
-
The Reset is designed for busy couples: short lessons, tiny practices, one weekly check-in. If you miss a week, you’re not “behind”, just pick up where you left off.
-
To keep coaching effective and fair, 1:1 is for Reset alumni only. If there’s a safety or crisis concern, please use local resources first; when you’re safe, begin the Reset and we’ll build from there.
-
Great—this complements therapy. The Reset gives you a weekly habit loop and shared language so coaching can target specific friction points faster.
-
Yes. The Reset focuses on clarity, tone, and small behaviors you can control. If reconciliation isn’t possible, you’ll still leave with communication tools that protect your dignity and reduce conflict.
-
Aim for consistent participation, not perfection. The alumni checklist is simple: finish the 7 weeks, practice the micro-moves, and submit the Week-7 Reflection so I can prep your first session.
-
No—this is educational coaching. It’s practical, Gottman-based training you can use at home.
