Real love is a daily practice
I learned that the hard way.
Love Lab Coaching turns relationship confusion into small, consistent steps that help couples understand each other, reconnect with intention, and make healthier decisions about their future.
Sometimes that means rebuilding.
Sometimes that means finally seeing the truth.
Why does the silence happen
The truth is: most relationships don’t end with a bang. They fade in silence.
One partner shuts down. The other waits. Conversations shrink, touch disappears, and no one knows how to bring it back without breaking what’s left.
My story
I lived through the silence and fought back with practice.
I’m Viktor Domahidy, Gottman Seven Principles Leader, Relationship and Intimacy coach, and founder of Love Lab Coaching.
I’ve spent over 20 years in the trenches of real love.
I wasn’t always a coach. I was a husband who showed up physically, and missed the most critical emotional moment in my wife’s life. That failure woke me up. I made a vow: to help people stop living in silence, understand what is really happening, and make the healthiest decision they can from clarity — not fear,
resentment, or confusion.
What Makes Me Different
I do not teach theory from a desk.
I coach tools I have seen work in real life.
Years in hospitality taught me how people actually unravel — through tone, timing, silence, body language, and the little moments where connection is
either protected or lost.
I also coach from my own history.
From the pain I caused.
From the repair I had to earn.
And from the promise I made to do it better.
My credentials matter.
But my humanity matters more

Educational relationship coaching — not therapy
Over 20 years of lived relationship experience
I bring training, structure, and real-life perspective into the room.
Not to diagnose you.
Not to treat you.
But to help you understand the patterns you are living in and decide what comes next with more clarity.
How We Work
Every relationship is different, so we don't start with assumptions.
We start with clarity.
1. Discover What's Really Happening
Take the free Are You in Sync? assessment
to identify the patterns shaping your relationship.
2. Learn Why
Whether through Pocket-Coach, the 7-Week Relationship Reset, or private coaching, you'll understand the emotional dynamics beneath the conflict.
3. Practice Differently
You'll learn practical tools, guided conversations, and simple daily habits that help you communicate, reconnect, and rebuild trust.
4. Decide with Confidence
As your understanding grows, so does your ability to make healthy decisions—whether that means rebuilding your relationship or
recognizing it's time to move forward.
No guessing.
No taking sides.
Just clarity, practical tools, and a path forward.
When You Need More Support
The 7-Week Relationship Reset is the best starting point for most couples.
It gives you the foundation, the language, and the weekly practices to begin seeing your relationship more clearly.
But not every relationship is ready to do that work alone.
Some couples need more structure.
Some need accountability.
Some need a calm third voice in the room so the practices do not turn into another argument.
That is where the Private 7-Week Relationship Reset may be a better fit.
It follows the same core framework, but with private weekly sessions, guided support, and more personalized coaching as you move through the work.
The goal is still the same:
Clarity.
Practice.
Healthier decisions.
Whether you take the self-guided course or the private version,
We are not guessing anymore.
The Philosophy Behind Love Lab
Love Lab Coaching is not about convincing two people
to stay together…
It is about helping you understand the relationship you are actually living in.
Sometimes that journey leads to rebuilding.
Sometimes it leads to realizing the relationship has reached its natural end.
Neither outcome is failure.
Failure is continuing to live in confusion, resentment, and emotional loneliness without ever understanding why.
My role is not to choose your future.
My role is to help you discover it.
If your relationship can be rebuilt, I will help you rebuild it with intention.
If it cannot, I will help you move forward with honesty, respect, and dignity.
If you’re here, this is your window
You’re not too late. You’re not broken.
You’re at a turning point, and what you do next matters.
-
Start anyway. You’ll still build skills that change the tone at home. If your partner joins later, you’ll already have the playbook. (Solo coaching is available after you complete the Reset.)
-
The Reset is designed for busy couples: short lessons, tiny practices, one weekly check-in. If you miss a week, you’re not “behind”, just pick up where you left off.
-
To keep coaching effective and fair, 1:1 is for Reset alumni only. If there’s a safety or crisis concern, please use local resources first; when you’re safe, begin the Reset and we’ll build from there.
-
Great—this complements therapy. The Reset gives you a weekly habit loop and shared language so coaching can target specific friction points faster.
-
Yes. The Reset focuses on clarity, tone, and small behaviors you can control. If reconciliation isn’t possible, you’ll still leave with communication tools that protect your dignity and reduce conflict.
-
Aim for consistent participation, not perfection. The alumni checklist is simple: finish the 7 weeks, practice the micro-moves, and submit the Week-7 Reflection so I can prep your first session.
-
No—this is educational coaching. It’s practical, Gottman-based training you can use at home.
